Robert is a Certified Retirement Financial Advisor. He currently holds his Life and Health Insurance License, Property and Casualty Insurance License, and Viatical Settlement Brokers License. Robert has also completed course work for the Series 65 License and is working toward his Charted Financial Consultant Designation. Additionally Robert has completed course work in Retirement Planning, Social Security and Medicare, Ohio Long Term Care, Long Term Care Needs and Solutions, Programs Policies and Partnerships, Enhanced Ethics with Fair Credit, NAIC, Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulations, and Retirement Income Planning.

He also lends his copywriting talents to all direct mail invitations as well. David Romans, Ph.D. is the Director of Public Relations and Data Analytics for Affinity Advisory Network. David has earned multiple degrees in engineering and spent eight years as part of a Research & Development team tasked with developing alternative power generation technologies at one of the world’s most advanced coal-based research centers. He also worked in the medical industry assisting surgical teams throughout New England and the Midwest with the application and development of advanced surgical navigation technologies and techniques. David has been with Affinity Advisory Network for almost a decade and is licensed in the insurance industry, a member of the National Care Planning Council, and accredited by the Veterans Affairs.
David has educated over 10,000 people in ca. 850 seminars. Through this experience he has not only been able to provide the assistance people need to make informed estate planning decisions but has also analyzed the data from these events and has created best-practices and measurable metrics that have proved effective for others emulating our system across the US. He also manages the company’s CRM, routinely provides training on a variety of topics, assists veterans at no charge, and participates as necessary on numerous company-wide initiatives to ensure we’re providing the best-in-class support and service for our clients.
David has been married to his high school sweet heart for almost 30 years and they reside in North Canton, OH. They have three wonderful kids – Nathanael, Faith, and Joshua – that they cherish. David strives to work in accordance to I Corinthians 10:31.
Josh Mickley is the Director of Business Development for the Affinity Advisory Network. His primary responsibilities are developing and implementing all of the company’s marketing strategies and information, as well as recruiting and directing the advisors for Affinity Insurance and Financial Services. Josh oversees all of the new incoming advisors and handles all of the licensing, contracting and training. Josh has over 10 years of sales experience; including being one of the top sales representatives for Robert Hall in some of his previous business ventures.
Rhonda Camacho is the Administrative Assistant here at the Affinity Advisory Network. Rhonda has been in the administrative field for over 20 years and has found a knack for multitasking and problem solving. Her responsibilities include customer service, administrative support, day-to-day operations and assists advisors, attorneys and clients with financial documentation. Rhonda is also accountable for heavy phone interaction between clients, management, and dedicated units.
Rhonda has experience as an office manager, event planner, travel coordinator, and an HR consultant. She has been responsible for gathering facts, diagnosing problems and providing solutions in regards to all on-boarding issues.
Rhonda has recently moved back to her home state of Ohio, after living in New Jersey for 30 years. She is married, loves to read and spend time with her extended Ohio family.
Heather is seasoned with over 25 years in the Administrative field. She has extensive experience with all administrative, clerical and basic finance tasks working alongside Financial Executives.
Having held positions in the medical and business fields, she is able to tailor her skills to meet the needs for various clients. Her responsibilities include customer service, administrative support assisting advisors, attorneys with financial documentation. Heather has experience with heavy database and phone interaction between clients, management and also has experience in Sales & Marketing, Accounting, Office Management and nursing. She has a lot of compassion and patience when dealing with people and will make sure that every client is treated equally important!
Erron Barrino is the Marketer for the Affinity Advisory Network and his main responsibilities include executing drop mailings, sending client information, setting up client consultations, placing reservations for seminars, and any other client correspondence that needs handled. Erron is the main point of contact for any prospective clients, as he is here to answer general questions and point people in the right direction. Erron has over 10 years of experience working with clients in the financial industry. He has previous working experience as a sales rep, account executive, and a floor supervisor for one of the area’s top billing companies.
Cathy Mace helped establish Affinity Tax Services LLC. After 32 years working in the Cost Accounting field for a large manufacturer, she wanted something a little different to do. She has an Associate degree and Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting. Cathy has taken courses in tax preparation and passed the Registered Tax Return Preparer exam required by the IRS. She has done individual returns for a large tax company and individual and trust returns for Affinity clients. Proactive tax planning plays a major role in estate planning and Cathy is the primary tax professional for our clients here at Affinity.
As a Senior Graphic Designer, I work as part of the creative team at our in-house agency, Affinity Advertising. Designing, creating, testing and finding solutions to produce the best outcome for each project is always challenging. But, my favorite part of the process is when a project comes to life, you see the reaction it has and you get to watch it grow.
At Affinity, there’s a variety of work the creative team completes. Advertising, printed materials, direct mail and office collateral are some of the items we produce for the company. It’s also the creative teams’ job to find ways to help the company find ways to introduce what we can do to help clients be successful in their retirement. We listen closely, then find ways to get specific ideas, thoughts or suggestions into a visual format.
I have been in Graphic Design my entire career with an emphasis on visual communications. The field is ever changing, growing and expanding. I stay interested in marketing, branding and continual education of new skills.
Away from work I love spending time with Rick, my husband of 38 years, our adult children and our grandchildren. The laughter they bring into our home keeps my life a happy one. I enjoy being creative in my home studio (it’s my little corner of the world), painting, drawing, scrapbooking and more.
Kris Berrie is a System and Implementation Specialist with Affinity Advisory Network. In this critical role, he is responsible for the efficient operation of existing information systems and the creation of new ones that directly improve the ability of the agents and professionals within the organization. His main responsibilities include optimizing business efficiency from new agent onboarding to application flow. While often behind the scenes, Kris’ contributions integrate the real world and technology.
Kris attended Indiana University Majoring in Applied Behavior Analysis, and was a Diver for the University.
